Hey everybody,

Hope you’re all settling in to what looks like a long, hot, crazy-weather summer. Hope you’re all safe and dry and enjoying the sunshine. 

Let’s get right into the latest...

North Minneapolis~

Most of you know that north minneapolis was hit in a huge way by a tornado late last month. Things are still really serious and there’s a lot of re-building/putting the pieces back together again that needs to happen. I’ve joined Northside: A Twin Cities Community Benefit, along with many other MN artists, to perform at the sTate Theater this Sunday, June 12th. If you live in Minnesota, come out, be a part of something really positive. It’s gonna be a great night of music for a really great cause. (for more information, go to www.northsidebenefit.org) 

More Than Santa~

As you know, i’m working on my up-coming, full-length holiday CD, More Than Santa. It’ll be out late this year. I raised the money to fund the project using this amazing thing called Kickstarter. I set a minimum goal, and met it in the first 3 weeks! I have THE MOST AMAZING friends/fans on the planet!!! I’m still hoping to raise more. All the money will go into making the CD, artwork, packaging, etc. We’ve got 15 days left to get as much funding as possible. Please go to www.kickstarter.com and look for my project. There are lots of cool incentives, and if something jumps out at you, go for it! I’ve got the songs written, and we’ll be hitting the studio later this month. So excited!!!

Ok. That’s enough about money and fundraising. Let’s get into some other good stuff...

Facebook and New Characters~

I’ve got a brand-spanking new fan page on facebook. Go to www.facebook.com/pages/keri-noble, and check it out. While you’re there, visit the video page. There’s a song i wrote, Make Me Crazy, that features my new back-up singers. Meet AJ Eskridge and Bryna Tally. Some of you were able to hear them in Hopkins, MN back in February. That was the first show they’ve done together with me. They killed it! So, we started getting together over the winter and spring, to help them get really familiar with the music. They’d stand around my piano, and as i played and listened to how beautifully they blend, it got me thinking....

we should do a show just like this! 

There’s something about the solo piano, me singing my songs and their voices swirling and floating around the melodies that is really special. 

So, i can’t say exactly when (July 29th) or where (the Dakota in downtown mpls), because we haven’t finalized the paperwork, but....there’s a two-shows/one night event coming. Keep an eye on my website or facebook for that announcement. I can’t wait for you to hear them.

KFAN~

I’ve added radio to my to-do list. every Monday morning, i join the guys of the Power Trip Morning Show on KFAN AM1130(kfan.com) as the “Girl Around Town”. We talk movies, concerts, entertainment stuff....but mostly we just shoot the shi*#! It’s been a blast, and definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’m on in the 8AM hour, and i’ve come to really love it. If you wanna tune in, you can go to their website and listen live or click on the Fan on Demand link that let’s you listen later. It’s really a lot of fun!

Saying Goodbye~

As new faces join, we say goodbye to others. Many of you have met and interacted with my manager, Laurie Ziegler, over the last 3 years. She’s been a huge part of both the visible and invisible elements that keep the machine running. She is moving on to new opportunities, and so, it is with sadness, that i say goodbye. She’ll be missed, but i know we all wish her the very best in her next endeavors and i’m certain that she will be a great asset to anyone who’s lucky enough to have her. 

Ken Abdo, with Lommen Abdo Law Firm, will be filling in and assisting in keeping everything moving smoothly. And i am SUPER grateful!!!

So, that’s it. You are officially caught up to speed, and i am officially exhausted :-) 

There’s a lot to do, and better get to it.
